AreaEcho is now open to the public!
First off, I want to say a special THANK YOU to our beta testers. Seriously, you guys ROCK and without you, we wouldn’t be making this announcement today!
And that announcement is:
AreaEcho is now LIVE and available to the public!
That is right! We’re out of private Beta 5 days before our scheduled launch date! In the famous words of Colonel John “Hannibal” Smith, “I love it when a plan comes together!”
So we have the product ready, the reporting tool completed and our first couple of landing pages ready. To begin with, we are going to target Real Estate Agents and Painting Contractors.
There have been a lot of questions about what home services categories we can target, so I am going to give a quick rundown:

There are some other categories that we could support, but we’ve decided that initially we want to stick to to the ones above. Home Services is an exciting area for us, as we believe most of these will bring the small businesses this product was designed to help.
With regard to Real Estate , I personally have some experience in this area, and I can’t even count the number of friends and colleagues I have that are in this industry, so it is another one that I believe we can offer tremendous value to.
